UGA bball: A note from a UGA fan

Dear University of Georgia Basketball Team,

We need your help. It was a rough one this past fall. You were probably practicing and didn't get to go to games because you are hard working, dedicated, and love being in the gym working on your game but in case you missed it, UGA's football team was major struggs this year. Like bad. Worst team in 14 years. Lost to some teams they shouldn't have etc. yaddy yaddy yada(Sundiata?)

If UGA wins, this "CSS"logo will magically turn into an "ESPN" logo. Personally, I'd settle for "SPIKE TV"

Now the focus of an entire school's fan base needs to shift to you and even more so since you play one of the most storied teams in college basketball with some of the best fans in the country in Kentucky.

Got a chance to prove that UGA bball is relevant this year and will be in the future. Got a chance to prove yourself on television to a large viewing audience but more importantly to your student body in Athens in front of a sellout crowd. You are 11-2 and have lost two respectable games which you should have won had you hit your free throws. You are unbeaten since the loss to Temple, but have had some close calls against teams you should have handled. You have two of the best players in the SEC who one predicts to be a lottery pick and one is not far behind (Thompkins and Leslie respectively).

The real reason Cousin's went to the NBA? He prefers coffee not tea.

You are on the cusp of being relevant...like ESPN relevant...and I'm not talking about for videos of crazy trick shots (though they are pretty legit). Beat Kentucky and people start believing...something that UGA needs right now.
